Dornier Aircraft 9N AHA D228 of Sita Airways crash (With Video)

28 September 2012, Kathmandu.

19 people are dead in the crash of Dornier Aircraft 9N AHA D228 of Sita Airways, near to the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, Nepal just after 2 minutes of taking off. 19 people are including 7 Britons, 5 Chinese and others are Nepalese. The crew members were known as Captain Bijaya Tandukar, co-Pilot Takeshi Thapa and airhostess Ruja Shakya. Sixteen and three crew members were heading towards Lukla, mountain.

The problem was losing control of the engine. Airport officials said an eagle hit might have caused of the loose control and fire on the plane. The plane has caught fire after 2 minutes as it took off. The captain has informed to communication tower about the loose control by hitting an Eagle and tried to emergency land. It was landed successfully at Manahara river side at Koteshwor, 1 km south of airport run way but the fire brigadiers were arrived after plane fired up totally. No one could save the life of any one inside the plane.

This is the sixth record of Dornier Aircraft crashing in two years history.
